Automatically create and resolve Jira tickets when Sola detects incidents, keeping your project tracking in sync with your infrastructure.
Overview.
The Sola + Jira integration bridges the gap between your monitoring and project management. When a monitor fails, Sola creates a Jira issue in the project of your choice with all relevant incident context. When the monitor recovers, the issue is automatically transitioned to Done — so your backlog stays clean and your incident history is always up to date.
How it works.
Sola connects to Jira via the Jira REST API. On monitor failure, Sola creates a new issue with a configurable issue type (e.g. Bug or Incident), populated with the monitor name, error details, affected URL, and a link to the Sola incident. On recovery, Sola transitions the issue to a resolved status using your project's workflow.
How to configure.
In Jira, go to Account Settings → Security → API Tokens and create a new token. Copy it.
In Sola, go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect next to Jira.
Enter your Jira domain (e.g.
yourteam.atlassian.net), your email, and paste the API token.Select the target Jira project and issue type for incident tickets.
Map your project's workflow statuses to Sola's "open" and "resolved" states.
Click Save and trigger a test to confirm ticket creation.
