Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Sola ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including individuals and organizations on paid or free plans.
The Service
Sola provides uptime monitoring, incident alerting, and status page infrastructure for websites, APIs, and other internet-connected services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
You must provide accurate and complete information when registering
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:
Use Sola to monitor endpoints you do not own or have explicit permission to monitor
Use our monitoring infrastructure to conduct load tests, stress tests, or DDoS attacks
Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of third-party systems without authorization
Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
Plans and Payment
Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance
All fees are non-refundable except where required by law
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account
Free Plan
Free plan users are subject to usage limits as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits at any time.
Uptime and SLA
We target 99.99% uptime for the Sola monitoring infrastructure. In the event of a service disruption:
Business plan customers are eligible for service credits as outlined in their agreement
Credits are the sole remedy for service unavailability
Scheduled maintenance windows are excluded from uptime calculations
Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You retain ownership of your data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data for the purpose of providing the Service.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in the Service, including software, design, trademarks, and documentation, belongs to Sola. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide accurate and timely monitoring data, we do not guarantee:
That the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
That monitoring checks will detect every outage or anomaly
That alerts will be delivered within any specific timeframe
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sola shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, data loss, or business interruption.
Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
