Trigger and resolve PagerDuty incidents automatically when Sola detects a monitor failure or recovery.
Overview.
Connect Sola to PagerDuty to fire incidents directly into your existing on-call workflows. When a monitor goes down, Sola opens a PagerDuty incident and pages the on-call engineer according to your escalation policy. When the monitor recovers, Sola automatically resolves the incident — no manual cleanup required.
How it works.
Sola sends incident events to PagerDuty via the Events API v2. A new incident is triggered when a monitor enters a failing state, and a resolve event is sent when it recovers. Incident payloads include monitor name, failure reason, affected region, and a deep link back to the Sola incident timeline.
How to configure.
In PagerDuty, create a new Service or select an existing one.
Under Integrations, add a new integration and select Events API v2. Copy the Integration Key.
In Sola, go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect next to PagerDuty.
Paste your Integration Key and click Save.
Optionally assign specific monitors to different PagerDuty services.
Trigger a test incident to verify the connection.
